Creek House Concerts
Creek House has become the desired listening room for many of the national touring acts out on the road today. Word has gotten out of the wonderful audiences that come to listen to these national musical treasures. Creek House has just upgraded its sound system and has asked sound director Chris Vnak to join us so that we can bring you the best music experience you will ever have! Because word gets out among the artists....Creek House has now become known as "The Carnegie Hall of House Concerts" in the United States. Thank you for your kind affirmation!
The musical mission at Creek House is to present the audience with artists playing folk, blues, country, western, roots, as well as comedians, storytellers...with a focus on nationally recognized songwriters that have created an extensive body of original works. Creek House director Glenn Elvig's desire is to have every artist leave feeling that they just played the best gig of their lives.
Shows are generally on Friday and Saturday nights. Some shows sneak up on Thursdays and Sundays. Saturday and Sunday shows have doors at 6:30. Thursday and Friday shows have 7:00 doors.
Located 20 minutes north of both Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Creek House is easy to get to... even die-hard bicyclists join us year round, with indoor parking facilities for these two wheeled friends. Concerts are usually once a month (October - June) with a break over the summer months. Shows are by reservation only! Because this is a house concert series we ask that you become a subscriber for more details and directions.
Also, because we are a house concert series in a residential neighborhood....please be most respectful of our wonderful neighbors. You may meet them at the concerts....they are the best!
We usually fill every show, so please reserve early! Please plan to join us!
We recently lost a dear friend...Mr. Lonnie Knight. Not only was Lonnie a best friend, he was a Minnesota Music Hall of Fame musician...guitarist extraordinaire and singer/songwriter...Lonnie was THE artist that inspired the creation of Creek House. Lonnie was also the creator and webmaster for creekhouseconcerts.com. The series will continue in his honor. We miss you dear friend.
On January 13, 2018, we formally dedicated the Richard Howard O'Brien Stage and the Lonnie Knight Theater at Creek House.
This website is dedicated to my dear friend Kay Nelson of Healdsburg, CA for her development of this site! Kay passed away from this world...her light and humor and love continue to guide.
